Mini Reunion for my Mom

We spent the whole Christmas day at my mom’s house in Pampanga.

We were there by 8am and went around visiting our relatives to have some “mano po and aguinaldo sessions”, lol! After that we return to my mom’s house and have some brunch. After that my mom and dad ask us to go somewhere nice where Aj and Lyka can have some fun. We thought of going to Clark for some carnival fun. But before we got to our destination, my cousin Lisa called and asks us to go home at once! Why? Because they just arrived at my mom’s house to surprise her! :) So, we immediately return home.

All my cousins, aunt and uncle (mom’s side) where at our house when we arrived. It was a surprise mini reunion for my mom. And boy if you could only see my mom’s face, she was really ecstatic! :) Imagine, they were almost laughing the whole time they where together! Lol! :)

Anyways, I’ll posts some photos when I have the time. But here is a teaser from that great moment.

A Great Year Ahead

Gosh! I can’t believe it’s the 30th of December! Time really flies so fast! It’s like yesterday when we went to my mom’s house for a Christmas visit and now only 2 days to go and its 2009! Gosh!


I just hope that 2009 will give us more blessings and happiness in life more that 2008 has given us. This goes for all of us guys!

With that I need to search for some bathroom fixtures that I need to buy for my mom this New Year. :)

So to all, GOODBYE 2008 and WELCOME 2009!

My Mom needs a Diet

Last Christmas my mom had the grandest day this year. We came to their house to celebrate Christmas with them. And I think that was last May 2007 at my Grandpa’s wake.

My relatives arrive by lunch time and my mom was really really happy to see all of them. And of course us too! It’s been a while since our family had a mini reunion. With them are bunch of goodies and yummy stuffs that we feasted that lunch. Everything was so festive that I think my mom should have to undergo a Nutrisystem after the holidays. You see my mom is a diabetic and she shouldn’t be taking festive foods too easy, right?

Well, for me yes! Because I had a pretty fun and joyous Christmas day because I had my whole family with me. And also because Aj received lots of gifts and moolah’s too, that made me happier! Lol! :)

Actually, the real reason why I was so happy was hubby gave me a gift! Guess what it is?


It’s a CEIVA Digital Photo Frame! Yeah, believe it or not he bought one for me! Goody! I've been eying on this digital photo frame for years now and finally I got one! Now, I can view my family photos anywhere in the world. Thanks hubby, I'm really so happy! :)

Busy as a Bee

Hi guys! How are you?

Sorry for not updating lately, I’ve been pretty busy and occupied for the past few days. You know? Christmas stuffs like Christmas shopping, party and work load rush. Hopefully, I can be on my full bloggy mode after Christmas or so but for now I cannot promise my presence on the week ahead, especially because my pc is under repair. Though I might sneak in on my buds pc, lol!

Btw, we had our company Christmas party yesterday and boy it was blast! My boss said that our party is progressing in a positive way each year! Great! I’ll be expecting some check on my hand next week! Lol!

Anyways, I need to go now and shop for my brothers gifts. I think I might give them some ipods. What do you think?

I vow to get fat {just a bit }

Remember my post about me drinking Appeton? Well, I stopped after a week of trial. Lol!


For those who have no idea what Appeton is here’s a little information about it. Appeton is weight gain formula milk that enhances the absorption of protein in the body. Thereby making you .. fatter! Lol! :) Anyways, the reason I stop then was because I can’t yield myself to drink 3 times a day of this formula. So, I decided not to buy another can again.

But after a few months, I bought one again just last week and I vowed to drink it religiously. {*promise*}

Hopefully, I will gain weight after a month of religious drinking. :)

Huh! I’m stressed! ;(

I’m here at work but my mind is settled on our upcoming Christmas Party this Saturday! Urgh!

I know it’s the first day of the week and I have so much to do. But I just feel so lazy and look like I'm on diet pill because of the thought that Christmas is a few days away which means we’ll have a few days off and more exciting things to do! :) But since I have some pending work loads which I don’t want to work on, I feel pressured because of enormous follow-ups and queries. Geez! Looks like I have no choice huh?

Anyways, I was planning to give my dad this one for Christmas but when I saw the price! Opps! I just couldn’t afford such precious gem! Lol!

WS : { Dream Match }

What did I do this weekend?



We just stayed in the house and watched “Pacman’s Dream Fight”. Well, I have no choice because hubby just wants to stay home and watch the dream match. But unfortunately, our internet connection was down as well as the cable. So, hubby was forced to watch the match via our local television network GMA7. As we all know it’s a delayed telecast and has countless number of commercial in between, so in short the actual fight ended at 11am in Phil time but was aired by 3pm. Duh!


So while hubby waits for the fight, I continued reading the book 1 of twilight saga, hooping I could finish it that day. Unfortunately, I still have 9 more chapters to read! :)

I got bitten :)

Now, I finally knew why most of my buddies adore Edward Cullen so much. He is just simple irresistible! Aww! I want him to bite me more! Lol! ;)

You see two weeks ago I started reading the “Twilight” book (thanks to my Mommy) and like the others I got hooked especially when Edward Cullen entered the scene.

Then yesterday, hubby and I went to see the movie and God the moment I saw Edward Cullen I was so amazed (*sigh*)! Urgh! I just can’t enough of him till the end of the movie. I specifically loved the " Getting to know with a fierce gaze", " Don't move (for I will kiss you)", "You are my Life now" part and the "Tracker" scene where it gave me the shiver and made my co-watchers screamed. lol!

His pale cold skin, honey colored eyes, burning lips, spiky hair and his mysterious blood sucking personality really hit me bigtime. Lol! Hayyy .. When we went home, I tried to finish the book and I vowed to finish it this weekend. Hopefully, by Monday I’ll start browsing “New Moon” and hopefully sigh at Edward again. Lol! :) { hope hubby won’t read this post! Lol!}

Happy day to me

Hi guys! I just want to tell you how happy I am today!

First, our internet connection at the office is finally up. Second, I finally convinced hubby to watch “Twilight” and we’ll go their later. Third, I won Milet’s BDJ Planner give-away!

Yes! I won the planner!


But you know what when Milet told me that I won the planner I got mixed emotions. Why? Because at that moment, I already ordered online and paid for the planner. Gosh! So, when I told Milet about it, she was kind enough to just send me $15 than the planner! Thank you very much sis! You’re really too kind, promise! :)

Now, I have an extra $15 and a planner at the same time! That just made my day. :)

Finally I’m online!

After exactly 1 week and 3 days of no landline and internet connection it finally went to an end! God! All they need was a letter from my boss! Geez!

Anyways, I’m really feel so happy today because at this very minute I’m blogging ahhaha! So expect me to hop on your blog soon and hope you can visit me as well because I have a lot of stories to post. :)

Weeklong Rant

Hi everyone!

How are you doing? How was your week?

Well, mine was pretty lame. As you can see my last post was last Monday which is 6 days ago. Urgh! I can’t believe I was able to survive those days without blogging!? Wondering why?

Well, for the fourth time this year our land line and DSL (internet) cable at the office has been cut again! Yeah, unfortunately again! But this time it’s a different story- the cables where not stolen, they had been accidentally cut by our electric provider (SFELAPCO) while clearing the trees around their high voltage posts. Hay, it was cut off last Tuesday and since then we’ve been calling our very good (yuck!)phone and internet provider Digitel but up to this day non of their hard working technical staff has assisted or even contacted us for re-installation. God I really hate them!

Our liaison officer even went to their office to personally report the incident but still all they say that our problem has been already reported to their technical team. Gosh! Kailan nila iinstall next month!? Because of them I wasn't able to blog for 6 days though we do have an internet connection in our house but I really can't concentrate because Aj is always with me and I'm quite shy of my in-laws, they might think that I'm lazy and don't really care much about Aj db?

If by tomorrow hindi pa sila darating, my boss and I would file a formal complaint to their manager of to their head office. Tapos ang usuapan! ;( Inis tlaga me eh ;(

Now, I have to ciao for a while and search for the best car insurance online.

Weekend Snapshots: { Nature Tripping }

I had very relaxing weekend last week.

Sunday morning came and hubby woke me early in the morning. I think it was around 5 am then and he said that we’ll be going somewhere “Exciting”. I got amused and got really excited so after we sip some coffee we went there – to the mountains!

Well, I think some of you don’t know but our place has some mountainous area and some key roads leading to some destination. We arrived at the foot of the mountain after 45 minutes of browsing the road thru a motorcycle.

My friend John has been in the states for more than 5 years now. He was petitioned by his dad that has been working there for almost half of his lifetime. Unfortunately, a year ago John’s dad had a stroke and that forced him to stop working and stay at home to be taken cared off.

But of course, John cannot take care of him because he needs to work for them to live. That’s why he hired a health giver from Fort Lauderdale Home Health Care. The caregiver usually come to their house every morning and leave when John arrives from work. Yeah, he hired a caregiver than putting his dad in an health care institution. He said that he feels more at ease if his dad is at home and not on any building where he ‘s too far away.

Good things, home-care giving has been introduced. Not only that his dad feels more at home, they also cut off lots of dollars from hospitalization or nursing home fees.

I’m actually wondering what my "Mommy" bought for our “Twitter Exchange Gift". Well, I checked on the bag on my wish list this morning and it’s still on sale. Hmm.. maybe she’ll give me the Havs or those blockbuster books instead.. Gosh! Any of them we’ll be totally appreciated by me. :)

It's pretty obvious that I’m really excited about this exchange gift thingy huh?! Lol!

I just can’t wait till my package arrive and discover who my “Mommy” really is! :) But for now I have to work on my phone and search on how Nokia unlocked phones.

Weekend Snapshots

Hi guys!

How was your weekend?

Mine was usual. We watched “Tropic Thunder” last Saturday and gosh, the whole movie was a disappointment. Yeah, it really was. There were some funny scenes but the whole plot was too flat and doesn’t make sense. I can't even understand Downey Jr.'s line! My hubby even thought of backing out at the middle of the movie. But I insisted that we should finish the movie for the sake of the ticket we paid.

By Sunday, AJ and I stayed home while hubby went on his Airsoft game at Mimosa.

Huh!

I’m still in the office doing some bloggy tasks. Well, I can’t complain because I rather have tasks than none at all. But the redundancy of the subject is really pricking my brain right now. Not to mention my starving stomach and thirty esophagus that’s been craving for a mocha vanilla frap and Plato’s tuna wrap. Huh!

This is really killing me, I feel that I look like a muscle man that stopped taking his prohormones pills! Lol! :)

This will be my last post for the day, I need to shut my bloggy hands off for a while and I had to increase my sugar. It’s not fun to be hypoglycemic, right? ;P

Weekend Ever :)

Finally, its weekend!!! Thank GOD! :)

Though, I’m so busy today. Yeah, I know I know- it’s Saturday, it’s supposed to be a rest day for some of us but in my world, it’s still a working day. Booo :)

I’m on an opps marathon since this morning because I have some opps that will expire today (here and on my other blogs). Luckily, I just finished them just in time. :)Good thing, it’s Saturday today and I have the time in the world to do all of them with no intervention from my bosses. Lol!

Other than doing my tasks and updating my blogs, I finally finished shopping for my Twitter Baby, Yes! I feel so at ease now because at last I had set aside the $ 25 for my monita. I just hope the seller will deliver the goods just in time. Well, as she said the package will arrive 5 to 7 days to my Baby’s house.

To my twitterbabes, you’re gift will arrive 5 to 7 days from now! I hope you’ll like it! Lol! :)

Btw, hubby and I will watch “Tropic Thunder” later, I just hope it’s worth our wait. :)

These are the mountainous ruins of Mt. Pinatubo eruption. Though, these mountains of sands were no longer huge because of excavation, they still remain as landmark of one of the town in the Philippines.


It was in the year 1995 when the sleeping volcano suddenly erupted and selfishly vomits its burning lava on its foot and mudflows on its nearby towns. Unfortunately, this mountainous ruin that you’re viewing now WAS A TOWN buried under the mercy of mudflows of Mt. Pinatubo(who was awaken after 600 years of slumber).


This town was literally erased in the map of our Province and is now struggling to renew its original state.

Need to Eliminate Debt

Have you ever wondered on how to be debtless?

Well, I did. Because of my credit card purchases, I have now the reason to believe that I have to eliminate debt. Lol! Though, I’m not saying that I have overwhelming debts that burdens me. What I’m trying to say is, it’s just a must to know how to eliminate debt before it burdens me.

That’s why, I’m browsing the web for reliable and effective credit counselors that can really help me in eliminating debts and assist me in being debt free in months or in weeks maybe! Lol!

I think some of my bloggy friends have same experience as I do in terms of credit cards, right? Hahaha, well guys, now is the time to be in control and be free over these irritating cards! Hahahah!

I just love those days, where we roam around the city to buy this and that, reserved this and that and confirm this etc. It was totally tiring but definitely rewarding! ;)
