Relieve Your Stress

Stress can strike anywhere and anytime to anyone in this world and anytime his or her lifetime. Well, I can say that stress is probably inevitable to any humans alive in this world.

Stress is also considered the silent killer for most people because recurrence of it usually leads to major damage in human system. So what to do when stress strike?

The answer is simple – GET RID OF IT FAST!:)

Here are some ways to eliminate stress in your life.

EXERCISE

Nothing relieves stress better than a good sweat. Getting a little exercise will allow all that pent up energy and bad feelings to go away. Take a long run or walk, play a game of basketball, or go for a long bike ride. Get active and the stress will melt away.

MEDITATE

Meditating is a wonderful way to relieve stress. Lay down somewhere quiet and try focusing on one thing deeply. I try to focus on my breathing or a gray mist surrounding me. Keep focusing and do not let your mind wander. If you lose your focus, that’s all right your human. Just try to regain that focus. Before you know it you will feel the stress lifting. If you are really focused, you may even fall asleep. There’s nothing wrong with this. Meditation is like anything else it needs practice. Start of by trying to meditate for a couple of minutes without losing your focus and build up from there.

TWO FOR TEA

Next time you feel stress get a cup of tea. Black tea will lower your cortisol levels which mean lower stress. Go for a double stress reliever by having tea with a friend and talking.

HAVE NICE LAUGHS

Laughing is a know stress reliever. Laughing will take your mind of any problems you may have. The next time you feel stress, call a friend and see a comedy. Laugh it up and the stress will melt away.

Another Notch Higher

I got really ecstatic yesterday when I found out that my Eds Mommy Life blog has been accelerated to PR 2! Yes! Finally, after months of being level 1, Mr G. has finally awarded me with another notch higher! :) ( I just hope it will last for many months or I hope another 1 will be added again on the next update. :)

And as a result of this awesome update, that blog has 10 additional tasks yesterday, given by the generous people of SR! Lol! :) Anyways, I need to go now and browse some XBox brochures for my best bud Nikko. He's planning to buy one this month.

Thanks a lot and wishing for more blessings! :)

Dream On

I received a call from my former boss this morning.

She was telling me that she’s selling a branded bag that I would truly love! :) Of course! As a bag-aholic freak I immediately told her “yes! I am so interested!”.

I told her to send me a pic or 2 for me to see its beauty.I was expecting that bag was a Coach bag or a Dooney and Bourke ( like the bags I saw on her online shop ) but I wrong... I was so shocked to discover that it was more than I’ve expected!

She was selling this to me…

( Photo c/o her online shop :)

God! As if I have the money to buy this expensive beauty! lol!:) She even told me that I can pay her thru installments and a cash deposit to close the deal. Gosh! I think she was just dying to sell this bag because she needs the money for her European trip with her BF! Lol! And as usual, her dad (the chairman) doesn’t know anything about it! Hahaha :)

Anyways, I won’t be buying this one anytime soon because it’s too way out of my budget! In short “ hindi ko siya afford! Hahaha “ So expensive cya db? :) I rather add the money for some Caribbean cruises than buy this expensive bag. :)

Well, I'm not saying that I won't be buying any bag from Chanel! Is just that I'm not yet ready for such investment. Maybe in a year or two boss! Just wait! lol! :)

Gold As An Investment

My uncle Albert has been in the property business for years now. He currently working at Oxford Properties in Canada and is having the time of his life working as a consultant. But of course, everything has its end and we us human get tired of working. Especially if you’ve been working your whole life and is turning 60 this year! lol! ;)

Yes, Uncle Albert will celebrate his 60th birthday this September and he’s quit e expecting the turnaround of events, especially with his career. He’s kinda a wary that this might be his last year but also happy that he has successfully entered the “retirement stage”! lol! :)

Anyways, he’s actually planning for a long term goal now that will really help his family. He thought to invest on stones and minerals and he just told me the other day that he plans to buy gold coins as an investment. Well, personally, investments especially with minerals like gold were never my forte. But just to feed myself with infos I tried to search the net and saw where my uncle plans to buy some golds. :)

Monex Precious Metals is home to a large and dedicated staff of hard asset professionals committed to serving your precious metals investment needs and being America’s best dealer with a convenient market and competitive precious metals prices. Yes! This is the place where gold lays! Lol! :)

Good luck uncle and happy retirement! :)

Detoxify Safely

Detox cleanses and body fasts have become very popular as the focus on health has increased. There are many detox diets and pills out on the market, though, that can cause as much harm as they do good. If you are interested in cleansing your body of toxins from alcohol, tobacco, fatty food or general environmental impurities, here is a safe way to go about it that won’t cramp your lifestyle or pose health complications.

Step 1
Drink plenty of pure water (distilled, filtered, etc). Eliminate coffee from your diet. You can drink green tea as a substitute.

Step 2
Include fiber rich foods in your meals. Organic grains, fresh fruits and vegetables such as radishes, cabbage and beets are good to add to your diet. Eliminate refined sugars, alcohol and saturated fats from your daily meals.

Step 3
Use vitamins and herbal supplements to promote a healthy liver. Taking vitamin C, dandelion root and milk thistle may help cleanse and protect the liver. A liver that is functioning properly is important for overall health.

Step 4
Exercise each day to detox the body daily. Practicing yoga or qigong can be beneficial as many exercises in these systems can help with specific health problems.

Step 5
Relieve stress in your life by practicing meditation. Doing breath meditation for 20 minutes each day can calm you as well as oxygenate your body.

Step 6
Remove toxins from your body by taking sauna baths or using detoxifying patches. You can also take a hot bath with baking soda and Epsom salts or sea salts to detoxify your body. Soak in the bath for 20 minutes and then gently scrub your skin; do this once a week.

Step 7
Try hydrotherapy or dry brushing your skin to improve circulation. You can do hydrotherapy by alternating between hot and cold water when showering. Dry brushing stimulates skin renewal through exfoliation.

Nikko's Birthday Bash

Last June 6, Saturday was my friend’s birthday.

The “party” was supposed to be that Saturday but because I wasn’t around to greet him that day because of my brother’s wedding, he decided to make the whole bash that Friday.
Our initial plan was to go to Lakeshore and have some picnic fun. But because of the bad weather my hubby suggested we go somewhere native and eat in. Good thing, a native resto was on the road and we decided to munch there.

Apag Marangle was the name of the place, it’s a kapampangan word which means “Eating in the Farm “. Sure enough, we we’re like eating in the farm field because of its kubo’s (wooden houses) and palaisdaan (fish ponds) view plus the very delicious native foods.

We ordered lots of foods that really made us full but what really made me happy was the bonding we had as officemates and friends. :)

Nikko, me, Rose and Hailey

Just look at one of our supervisors who wore the resto’s utensil containers as his muslim hat!lol! :)

Hilarious! :)

Time for me to look for some PDAs for my brother Mike. :)

Driving Lesson

Aj loves driving our car! :) Yeah, believe it or not he drives with his daddy’s assistance of course.

Each morning, my son always wants to ride our car and stroll around the neighborhood. Actually, he wants to seat on the driver’s seat and drive.

Here are some photos I shot when went malling last Sunday.

Just look how vibrant my son looks at the steering wheel ( like father like son! ). :)

Anyways, I need to ciao for a while and look for some barcode scanner for our new plant. :)

Inflatables is In

Planning a party? For your child’s birthday or maybe for a company getaway party? Are you sick and tired of the old way of celebrating special events? Well, why not try extending your horizons by using inflatable?

Yeah, inflatables are on the hype nowadays, most of event specialist recommends such way to celebrate to give more excitement to visitors and the celebrant as well. Like what San Francisco Party Rentals offers and my Uncle Sam just hired for their company party last month from Bay Area Party Rentals. They really had a lot of fun with the inflatables and of course with the food as well.

Hmm... I think I’ll ask my friend Faye if she wants to hire the San Jose Party Rentals for her first baby’s christening next month.

Manic Monday

If you could completely redecorate any room in your house at no expense to you, what room would you choose?
+ That would be the master bedroom and maybe Aj’s room (which I want to be really artistic. I really want our room to be the coziest room in the house.

Which hour of the day do you feel goes the slowest?
+ Around 2pm, when I just want to sleep after being full from lunch. It’s a good thing that I don’t need the best diet pills to slim down after. :)

If your birthday could be in a different month of the year, when would you have it?
+ Maybe Christmas Day! :) The happiest day of the year! :)
