Static Mode

It’s been a long time since I got my hair done so when I got the chance this morning to have it straight I immediately yield into it and look what happen.

My hair got static!

Gosh! My strands keep on rising every time I comb it and it literally ticks every time I stroke it with my comb. Hmm.. Is this the consequence of wearing rubber and being in front of the computer all day?

Well, the whole static hair thingy freaks me out so I tried searching the web for some remedies on it. And here’s what I got from this site.

1. Rub a dryer sheet against your clothes and head. This works, I do it all the time. Takes literally seconds plus you end up smelling dryer fresh.

2. Lotion- Apparently staying moisturized helps you from getting shocked or building up static electricity. Applying lotion after a shower especially during the winter seasons helps you from picking up shocks.

3. Apply metal to metal - If you are tired of getting shocked by your doorknob or kitchen towel rack etc. Touch the surface first with your metal keyes or a spoon etc. The other metal will absorb the built up electricity.

4. Fake Fibers - apparently synthetic fibers build up more static electricity than natural ones.. so if you are a frequent fan of the spandex you are in for some shocks! Ha!

Anyways, I hope these tips work because I’ll be trying them in a little while! Lol! I just hope I can also browse a promotional product on anti-hair static! lol!

Pain Pain Go Away!

Thank God for my eyes and hands – or else I wouldn’t be able to communicate this very instant! Why? Because of this dry, painful throat that’s been bugging me since this morning! Urgh! :( I woke this morning with a severe dryness on my throat and difficulty swallowing which made my condition even worst. My conclusion – SORE THROAT!


I went to work with a painful throat and went away from the phone early after getting the idea that the one on the line cannot understand a word I say. Gosh, it’s been more than a year ( I think) since I got my last attack on this virus. Well, I’ve been coughing (courtesy of hubby) for two days and just last night my coughing subsided but a tingling itch in my throat suddenly began.

Anyways, I’m currently browsing the web for some home cure remedies that would
relieve my pain and fortunately I’ve found some easy to do cure that I can try later at home.

Here are some of them that I might try ( which I think my mom had told me before )

PLAN A:
Water/salt. Mix a teaspoon of salt in eight ounces of quite warm water. Gargle the whole mixture several times a day. This will increase the blood supply to the area by washing away mucus and dilating capillaries, thereby enabling better circulation of infection-fighting antibodies.

PLAN B:
Ginger. Peel the skin from a small ginger root. Slice the root into thin coins and place the pieces into a small pot of water. Boil the pieces to make tea. The tea should turn a yellowish (straw) or tan color. Add three tablespoons of your favorite honey to sweeten the tea. Sip the hot tea slowly. The tea gives a sharp tingle to the throat after swallowing it. After you sip it, gently clear your throat. This tea also works for trying to get your voice back after a cold.

PLAN C:
Honey/apple cider vinegar. Mix ¼ cup of apple cider vinegar and ¼ cup of honey. Take one tablespoon every four hours or as needed for pain relief.

PLAN D:
To the doctor of course! It’s time to take some medication then, right?

Are you ready V - Day?

In a few days, the month of January will soon end. Thank God (I think), at least I’ll have less memory of what has transpired this month.


Now, I’m looking forward for February! A new month and a new me I bet. I hope everything will be great for me this month of hearts ('till the months to come) . Speaking of hearts, I think it’s pretty obvious that I’m really excited for Valentines Day huh? So, advanced Happy Valentines! lol! :) I’m not really expecting anything special to happen or I’m not even planning to buy a LV bag as my best V-gift either. Nothing really, I just felt that February is a new beginning for me and that’s it! :)

So, how about you guys? Are you ready Valentines Day! :)

I vow to get fat {just a bit }

Remember my post about me drinking Appeton? Well, I stopped after a week of trial. Lol!


For those who have no idea what Appeton is here’s a little information about it. Appeton is weight gain formula milk that enhances the absorption of protein in the body. Thereby making you .. fatter! Lol! :) Anyways, the reason I stop then was because I can’t yield myself to drink 3 times a day of this formula. So, I decided not to buy another can again.

But after a few months, I bought one again just last week and I vowed to drink it religiously. {*promise*}

Hopefully, I will gain weight after a month of religious drinking. :)

Am I Diabetic?

Hey guys! Does the “thingy” about black ants and diabetes real?

I think you’ve heard about the thing that when you pee on the toilet and return after a few minutes or an hour, then you look at the bowl- you see some black ants roaming around it =means your diabetic?

Well, the moment when my mom was diagnosed with diabetes, I was worried about ME - getting it too. To the point that I’m over-acting too much on little stuff that might be a "symptom" of it.

Do you think I’m o.a. about this? ---> You see I have my own cup/glass in the office. So, everytime I want to drink, I used that cup and put it on my table. A few hours later, I’m quite shock to see some black ants on my cup! I mean, I only drink water at the office. No soda’s or juices – just water. So, how can water be that sweet for ants to lure around my cup? Hmmm… does this means I have a sweet saliva = diabetic?

Urgh!? Can someone clear this matter to me? I’m kinda confused.

I hate today!

Ok.. I thought my week was great (well, I thought too soon!).

Just this day, I almost faint out off tension! Why if you ask?

Well, I forgot to pay our company’s electric bill for 2 months (which cost around P 650,000! ) Susmaryosep!!!! Patay ako nito pag nalaman ni bossing, Grr!!! Of all the payables bakit pa electric bill ang nakalimutan ko bayaran!

This is not good! Imagine from 8 this morning to this hour I still feel weak and tensed because of nervousness of getting disconnected! Hay.. I hate this feeling para akong bibitayin! Que Horror!

Hayy, I’m currently praying right now to the Lord Almighty that (hopefully) SFELAPCO will forget about our disconnection and will be more considerate on my amnesia! God! I really have to focus on my duties before I get fired. huhuhuhuh :(

work mode! (for a while?)

Yeah! I’m a changed woman.

As I’ve said on my previous post a long time ago, I had so many delays at work because of my addiction to blogging. As in, for 8 hours I only a lot 2 hours for work and 6 hours for blogging! Lol!

But now, I had to keep things straight before I get fired! Hahaha

That’s why starting this week, I told myself to focus more on work than blogging, but of course it’s a different thing when I finished all more work loads- blogging mode naman me nun! Lol! As much as I love to blog all day, I really have to think about my work first db? I mean, I can do blogging naman at night after I lured Aj to sleep db? ( but sometimes kasi I’m too tired to even open the pc. )

Hmm.. We’ll see.

And I do apologize to all my buddies and visitors who have tagged, visited and asked me for some xlinks, I’ll try to update and visit your page as soon as I settled my tasks at the office. (Maybe tomorrow! Lol! )

Hay, I just hope I can stick to my “work mode” for the rest of the week, so that no more worries sa work and more free time for blogging! lol!

I’ll be very busy the whole today. I have so many paper works that I should finished asap! Actually, these were the delays that I made because of my addiction to blogging! Lol! Silly me! “Mapapagalitan na ako pag nabuking ako!”lol!

Anyways, I’ll try to blog though if I can still “singit it”, feeling ko hindi ko matitiis eh!

i'm bloggy back!

I’m back! After a long vacation due to holy week, this (I think) is my first day of serious blogging (again!). I wasn’t able to get online for the past few days because I tried some fasting thingy. Yeah, I really did some sacrifice in my own little way. How? Well, I tried to repel myself from all sorts of blogging and devoted my full time and energy to my family, especially in taking care of AJ. I also tried to meditate in a way while watching some religious visuals from the bible.

Overall, it was actually worth it! Not boring at all! Well, eventhough my PR went down because of low traffic and no updates, less opps and all, “I don’t really care”.(plastic!) lol! No kidding! I really felt a fulfilling sensation because of what I did! And that actually made me happier even though I have less opps or none at all.

Ehem ehem, but of course today that I’m back, it’s a different thing! Need more opps to the highest level! Need more traffic, need to visit some bloggy friends and finished some tags! Hahahah

lazy day today

This is a very lazy day for me. I know it’s the start of the week and I have to make it like uber fruitful so that the rest of the days within this week will continue having "the Monday vibes".

But what can I do, “tinatamad talaga ako”, especially that the weather is very gloomy because of the nimbus clouds all over the sky! Lol!

Then, other than my “katamaran”, I feel so sleepy din, why? Well, Aj has been crying the whole night because of his cough. (Kainis! Nasobrahan sa swimming!). Now, the mini pool has been disposed by my hubby and is now officially stored at our storage room! Lol, sinisi ba ang pool!

Haay, I just hope Aj feels a lot better now and that we'll have a good night sleep this evening.

Treasured Milestones:
~ He's able to comprehend simple instructions like “put the thing in the box”, “go to daddy”, “call the puppy”, “ stop doing that”

~ He knows and speak a lot of words – like daddy, mama, joko (name of his cousin) tatang & ma’ma” (for his grandparents), cry, hug, love-love, nose, eyes, ears mouth, teeth, sponge bob, apple.

~ He knows and can distinguish parts of the body like eyes, nose, mouth, ear, hand, tummy and teeth!

~ He sort off memorize most of the animal sound and names in his brainy baby books, as in he can utter the exact name of the animal plus its sounds like the “goat and meee”, “ duck and quack-quack”

~ Knows shapes and most of the alphabets - like circle, square, oval, star and diamond, "a - s" (though he cannot utter them yet in their exact order)

~ He really loves basket ball and swimming in his new pool.

~ He counts while showing his fingers- count up to 5! But the numbers are not so clear yet :)

~ He love to dance to any sounds, especially those in my cp lol!

~ He can draw a circle though not that round

~ Eat with a spoon! But he's really messy.

~ He's a great climber, jumper and runner.

~ Can sing a bit the second verse of twinkle twinkle little star! Up above….

I think he'll be a great athlete in the future :)

a heartfelt moment

It was the night I’ll never forget on my whole mommy life!

It was about 10 pm and AJ was still up, I tried to put him down to slumber but he was like an “energizer” that’s full of energy that he just wants to play even though it’s too late in the evening. But I still insisted on putting him to sleep so he cried and he cried until my temper raised up and get so annoyed of his whining ( I feel so sleepy na kc eh and I’m so tired after 12 hours of work ). I spanked him a little bit (as in tapik lang talaga) he still keeps on whining, so I put him down and pat his butt in a spanking motion (slight lang ha, promise!) and told him in a toned voice, “ Its too late na, why don’t you sleep, sleep na, sleep na!”.

You know what happen next? He cried pa even more and I got a bit scared when he cried so hard that no voice came out from his mouth! I cuddle him and release the tension from him, I snuggled him more but he never stops crying. Until my MIL went to our room and ask what happen. I told him the whole story and when Aj saw his lola he went to her and cover in for comfort.

Then I realized "parang nagtampo yata ang aking baby”, when I tried to get him from my MIL he shove me away and I was like so hurt that my baby boy doesn’t want me anymore. But I tried to assessed things up and maybe nga he was like “ngtatampo lang”. Minutes pass but he still wants to be with my MIL. So, my MIL laid him down to bed until he relaxes and finally went to me and ask me to cradle him. I was so happy when he did that, at least after everything that had happen he still wants me -his mom. Now, I realized that I have to keep calm on situations that need more cuddling than nagging or spanking. I promised to myself that as much as possible what happen last night will never happen again.

a peek from the past

No one ever forget their firsts! First Crush, first love, especially their first kiss! Am I right?

Well, as some of you don’t know, my hubby- Adrian was my first ever boyfriend! True! Promise! He is! Lol! Though, I have some modest MU’s before which I rather not mention who they are, it was only with Adrian or “Bal” as his friends call him, that I felt the out most felt feeling of love! Uyy. :)

We first met at work last 2003, we know each other formally but we were not friends. But when 2004 entered, destiny changed everything for us unexpectedly. Love indeed will just come at the perfect time, perfect place and with the perfect person. {*wink*}

And the end result of destiny’s work – “the creation of an everlasting bond”. {'sigh}

she's coming home

Celie that is. My SIL from Macau will be arriving this evening for a week vacation and boy she’s really excited. She even wants Aj to come along to the airport later at about 8pm when my MIL goes there, but of course, I said “No” because Aj should be sleeping by then. “Magwawala lang cya, sure ako” lol! Aj kasi is her favorite nephew. Why? Maybe because he just can’t resists AJ’s cuteness! :) And maybe because she was there when I gave birth to Aj, she was the one who accompanied me to the hospital together with my hubby.

Anyways, I’m hoping that they will be home earlier than expected so that I would still be awake when they open the “pasalubong” box! Lol!

Yesterday, me, Jona and Melvin (my office buds) had a simple luncheon at a cozy resto near our office. It’s our simple V-day get together. Yes, my rebonding session was postponed because I got off abt about 4 pm then 5 - 6 hours pla rebonding so mga 11 pm na ako makakauwi! Gosh! so I just postoned it nalang and have it re-sched this Sunday.

It’s a multi-colored hobo bag from “The SAK”.

I got so ecstatic the moment I saw it! I love the colors and every details of the bag! He surely knows my craving. :)

That’s why I posted it here! lol! Well, I also want everybody to know how thoughtful my hubby is, considering I haven’t bought anything for him yet.

Tsk Tsk .. That’s why I’ll be off early from work today to buy him his V-gift and also have my hair rebonded. :) (Of course, I have to look stunning for our V- date tomorrow) lol!
