I definitely felt awesome, proud and happy that my son Ashley is having a great time at school and at the same time reaping good ratings from his studies. 

Ashley has always been an enthusiastic boy and he loves to learn new things which show from him when he asks me too many questions. Lol! I always hope that he will always be like this when he grows up and I always pray that he and his younger brother Zack will have a great and a happy life ahead. :)

Bonding Time with the Kids

Sunday means bonding time with the whole family and what did we do to spend it? Well, other than blogging, I spend a bunch of minutes with them doing this..

I just love spending time with my kids and my nephews. When I am with them I feel complete and stress-free.

Their smiles boost my heart and it feels I'm alive again.

I wish I could spend more happy moments with them. :)

Welcome Home

My SIL Avegail and her cute daughter Erika came home from Canada yesterday morning. It was actually a surprise visit for my in-laws for they never had an idea that they will be coming home this year. Only hubby and I knew that date of their arrival and had kept it a big secret until yesterday. :)

It was 2 in the morning when they arrive, my SIL went directly to her parent’s room and immediately greeted them hello. They were so shock and thought everything was just a dream. But when we opened the lights they finally realized that their eldest daughter and their first grand daughter have arrived from Ontario! :)


Everyone was laughing and I could see in their eyes the joy of being together once again. I was happy too of course! :)

With that, I would like to greet my SIL Gail and my niece Erika a warm “WELCOME HOME”! :)

A Special Gift

Last summer my friends and I decided to go out of town to relax and unwind ourselves.
So we went to the province of our grandparents to pay them a little visit. When we arrived they were really surprise when they saw me. Well, it has been 5 years since my visit to their house. Life has been very busy on my side of world that’s why. :)

Anyways, they welcomed us with a nice warm hug with me having a bonus kiss on the forehead. I was quite shy because all my friends were looking at me and smiling. After that my grandparents served us with my favorite food- ADOBO (meat simmered on soy sauce) and I tell you, my grandmother’s abodo is the best tasting abobo in the Philippines! We spent about 2 days in my grandparent’s house and when we were about to leave they give me a farewell kiss and my grandfather gave me a gift. He handed me a handful of gold coins. I was really shocked when I received it, I was hesitant at first but he insisted and I gladly accepted it. Thanks Grandpa! You’re the best! :)

Little Help

I went to my cousin the other day because she asked me to help her out on her monthly prenatal check-up. I said yes for I don’t have anything to do after work that day and we went to her ob gyne after 30 minutes of riding a jeepney.

When we arrived we saw a pile of pregnant women on the clinic corridor waiting for the doctor to arrive. Honestly, I never saw such numerous preggo women waiting for just one doctor! Just imagine what the doctor will do if most of those pregnant women will deliver their child at the same date and time. Lol!!!

Anyways, the whole experience was ok except for the progress lighting inside the clinic that needs repair, everything went on smoothly and we just finished just in time for us to go shopping! :)

Does anyone here know where to find the strongest fat burner in the web?

Well, it’s obviously not for my own use because I don’t have any fat existing in my body ( which I really wish I do have ) :). The burner is for my hubby’s consumption which is obviously getting big as he age! Gosh!

He eats too much rice lately which caused the bumping of his tummy to the highest level (as based on my own tummy scale). Lol!

I hope hubby won’t read this one when he gets online or else my “BB” request will be void! Noooohh!!!

I was browsing the web for some home insurance quotes that my uncle asked me to research when I suddenly stumbled upon a file that I haven’t opened before. It was a folder containing photos of my son Aj and his cousins.

Full Family Time

Seriously Sexy

My cousin Kyla has been overweight since we were in high school and now that she’s graduating from college she’s still striving on losing weight. Apparently, she’s blaming her weight for not having a boyfriend since birth! Funny but true, somehow most guys get attracted physically first, right?

That’s why, I vowed to help her slim down and promise to look for effective fat burner pills that can help her loose those unwanted fats on her body. I just hope I can find one before the year ends.

Well, they are just fine… and very much a like! :)

I’m too busy at work that I haven’t had the time to really update my blogs! Things are quite different now. Different in the sense that I can’t delay my office tasks anymore! Lol! :)

Driving Lesson

Aj loves driving our car! :) Yeah, believe it or not he drives with his daddy’s assistance of course.


Each morning, my son always wants to ride our car and stroll around the neighborhood. Actually, he wants to seat on the driver’s seat and drive.

Baby Surprise

My SIL will give birth this October and as a little gift, I thought of surprising her with a baby shower. Sweet huh? Lol! :)

Actually, I was browsing the web the other day when I saw these cutie baby shower invitations that really caught my attention. They also have elegant baby announcements that will surely make my SIL sigh. Here’s one invitation that you might want to look that I think would be perfect. :)

Cutie right? Anyways, I’m still on the search and I’m still waiting for the baby’s ultrasound if it’s going to be a boy or a girl. :)

Weekend Snapshots: Cranky Spider

Our weekend was spent as usual.

The 3 (me, hubby and Aj) of us just stayed in the house and had some bonding moments. We watched “Finding Nemo, Lion King” 3 times and “Madagascar” 2 times as per Aj’s request and as expected he really enjoyed the repetition saga.lol!

After our unforgettable cartoon marathon, my hubby decided to watch “Hulk” and Aj went to our closet to hide ( because he was afraid of the green man) and accidentally saw his spider costume.

So the next scene is – him as Spider Man!lol!


He’s really into the spider thingy that he got mad when I told him it’s time to wear his pajamas.

See how he grouched his eyes on me! lol!

Anyways, time to search for some San Diego hotel for my Uncle's vacation next month. :)

May he be the LAST

I didn’t work or blog yesterday because I wasn’t feeling well. I got a fever and somehow it got worst when my dad called me telling me that my Uncle Fred who was diagnosed with the big C last November 2008 had died! Yes, this is the second one this year (I hate January!). Urgh!

Uncle Fred is my dad’s elder brother. He is the eldest amongst the 10 siblings and the only one who hasn’t had any wife and children. He was single man and was an alcoholic dude. He literally gargle alcoholic drinks everyday even though he hasn’t eaten anything yet. I think he was a kinda rebellious because he felt neglected and useless by his family. That’s why last November 2008 he got a problem on his bowel movement and when the doctor checks on him, they saw numerous cysts in his various organs. He has one on his liver, colon and in his lung area. He was then given 3 months to live and yesterday was his last day. Sad to say, he has to die in a painful manner. I never had a glimpse since the day he had cancer. I would rather store a non-cancerous image of him in my mind than remembering how he looks when he got the disease. But as everybody has been saying, its better that he was finally laid to rest in a place where there’s no cancer and no more pain. No more dreaded disease, no more pain. Just plain happiness and serenity.

May you rest in peace Uncle Fred.

Please Lord please stop the hurting now.. may he be the last one Father… or I can’t take it anymore... :(

Sunday Schedule

Tomorrow is family day again for us.

We’ll be off early tomorrow because hubby and I decided to treat Aj to the mall. Well, Aj has been asking us almost everyday to go to SM so as part of our family day, we opt to spend our whole Sunday there.

We’ll have some shopping and some munching there and I thought of going to Toy Kingdom to see the huge remote car I saw for Aj. I just hope hubby will say yes to it. Hmm.. We’ll see. :)

Now, all I have to prepare is my HealWell Plantar Fasciitis to relieve my foot pains afterwards. Lol! :) Urgh! I just wish that malls have automatic walk –avator, so that when people get tired of roaming around, they would just stand there and roam with a foot moving.lol! :)

Change is Constant

As some of you know, my relatives surprised my mom with a mini reunion last Christmas.

My grandma who had a stroke was also with them to visit my mom. She arrived in a wheel chair because her body was semi-paralyzed due to stroke. I felt so uneasy when I saw her in the wheel chair, I also felt sad the moment I saw her because I wasn’t use to seeing her weak and dependent, especially the time when my Aunt ask her to change her diaper. Yeah, due to her condition and age she needs to wear disposable diapers.

My grandma used to be bread winner of their family because she was a strong willed woman way back her time. But of course everything changes in this world and this is one of the truth of life.

Treasured Hamilton Watch

Remember the Hamilton watch that I posted here for my dad? Well, we was able to choose from those gorgeous Hamilton watches we saw online and was able to buy one and gave it to my dad last Christmas.

He was so ecstatic when he saw the watch. He couldn’t believe that we bought him a new watch and it was one of the watches he wanted most. Good thing, my SIL was kind enough to give us a hand in purchasing the item. Thanks sis!
