Eat Less to Save?

I admit it’s been centuries since my husband and I dined out. Pitiful! I know, I know..

But things got a little busier at our end and we decided to cut-off some of our unnecessary expenses for us to save money ( well, after the “BB” of course hihi ). Money that we will be spending for our dream house. :)

Yup! Yup! I’ve been talking about it since I started blogging but till now no house has been build! Lol! And it’s all because of our spending habits! Urgh! So, one night, hubby and I agreed on cutting the eating out part for a while…

And for now, I’ll just post some of our old “eating-out” photos (@ Pancake House) that I really miss doing… :)

My Tiffany from Hubby

Hubby went home late last night and guess what he bought as an advance anniversary gift “daw” for our 4th year civil wedding anniversary this May.

I don’t really know where he bought this necklace but I bet he bought it online. Lol! He’s actually an addict online shopper like me and it’s my entire fault! Lol! :) But at least he's now one thoughtful hubby. Lol!

Hmm.. or is he giving me this because of my “upcoming” special gift? lol! :) Anyways, thank you so much hubby! Mwaahh 100x for this one!:)

I just love those days, where we roam around the city to buy this and that, reserved this and that and confirm this etc. It was totally tiring but definitely rewarding! ;)

I think most of you would agree with me right? Anyways, I have to go now because I need to buy a Manolo Blahniks flat for my SIL's birthday. :)

Eagle Eye

Yesterday was our movie night again. My hubby invited me to see the movie “Eagle Eye” with main star Shia LaBeouf and Michelle Monaghan.

The movie is all about two strangers who became the pawn of a mysterious woman who keeps calling them over the phone and gives command via the use of technology. The woman gave them a mission that is too much to bear - to eliminate the existing US government. She gave them everything they need to fulfill the mission, from passport

to guns and many more. They have no choice but to obey or else they will die. Now, what should they do to escape? Well, the answer is up for you to find out.

I recommend that you watch this movie because I consider it as one of the best movie I’ve seen this year. I just love the plot and how trilling the movie is. This fast-paced race-against-time-thriller really got me off my seat until the end of the flick.

The best part of the movie is knowing who the mysterious woman is and how to escape from her.

While arranging some stuff in our cabinet. I saw these on our Rimowa luggage:

These were my journals, where I kept all my hubby’s texts to me when he was still courting me.

I kept a record until the day he became my boyfriend. {*wink*}

I got this idea from my boss where she also kept tons of journals where she wrote all her bf’s (now her hubby) texts. Believe it our not, she even wrote the simplest text her hubby sent. Like “No” with matching dates and time. Which I did also! Lol!

But you know what, I never regret the day I started jotting down. Why? Because I use these journals as special weapons in teasing my hubby. {*giggles*}And you know what he says, he kept on denying that he texted all these sweet nothings and proposals to me! Lol! Oh well, even though those texts where erased already, at least I can reminisce the times when we had our sweetest moments as strangers to lovers just by browsing these journals.

Last weekend, my hubby and I went to the movies to watch “Hellboy 2”. While waiting for the movie to launch, trailers of upcoming movies where flashed on the big screen. And this one kept us laughing on our seats while waiting for Hellboy to start.

Synopsis:

This movie is all about a group of spoiled actors shooting a big budgeted war movie dropped in the middle of the jungle by their director. Unbeknownst to them, they’ve been dropped into a very real war zone, and they’ll have to fight their way out if they want to survive! I think this film is really awesome and can really make us cry while laughing!

Oh I just can’t wait to see this movie! I also love the actors that's why I'm uber excited to see it! Hope it will be shown next week so that we can have some good laughs over the weekends then.

Btw, about “Hellboy”, the movie was fine but it lacks that “something” {again} that I usually look for on action-adventure films. Well, I rather cook my casserole recipes than watching another movie like this. :)

Yeah, it’s my hubby’s birthday { August 6 }. Just 2 days away from Aj's and here’s what we did to celebrate it.

We dine out {again} at our fave resto…

Ate some goodies and shot these pics for me to post.

We had Chicken Fingers, Chicken Cordon Bleu and as part of the birthday thingy- {anything long for long life}- we had a White and Green Fettuccine Ala Carbonara. Hmmm.. These fueled our belly a lot. Whew!

Then we drove home and had a goodnight “S” lol! {sleep po un “S”} hihiihi ;)

As I posted earlier here. Something really great happened yesterday.

So here’s the kwento.

My hubby fetched me from work yesterday. After that, he invited me to go to SM Pampanga for some frappes. So because I was also craving for some frappes I said yes.We arrived at SM Clark by 6 pm and we went straight to Coffee Overdose for some frost and snack. Yeah, we had mocha frost and not frap (para maiba naman, lol!)

After that, he asks me to have some window shopping here:

And ask me what I want to buy a new pc. Of course I said no because I don’t have enough money to buy a new want and that of my preferred package. He said ok and he told me to sit on a chair while chatting to some technician.

After that, they showed me this:

A 19” Acer LCD

I was really stunned by its beauty and would really want it to be mine. I currently have a usual desktop at our home, though I really don’t have any plans of replacing it or whatever. Well, not yet (if budget permits lang)

So on with the story, after all the demo and stuffs I was so shocked when my hubby pullout some cash on his wallet and pays for the LCD! I immediately run to him and ask him what’s he’s doing? He said “ I’m buying a new pc for you “. What?! I was like so shocked and so happy to hear him say that!

At long last, I have a new pc! Now, I can won’t have to suffer from the slow pacing of my old one which is only 80gb in HDD. Though, I’ll keep my old for sentimental value purposes. :) My blogging career has started on that pc.

So, starting today I have a new ACER Aspire M1610, full pack (Pentium Dual Core, 2 GB DDR2 memory, 160 GB HDD and its magnificent 19” LCD!
