Two Birthdays In September

It was only now that I realize that it is already September. I suddenly missed my parents because of that.I think you are wondering why.  Well, because September is their birth month.

My mom will be 60 years old on September 13 and my dad will be 55 years old on September 29. With that, I begin to cram because I haven’t bought anything for them on their special day. Well, I also have another problem other than not buying it yet – I have no budget to buy them a gift. Urgh!

If I only I have the luxury of money I could give my dad a Mens Diamond Watch that he has been dreaming for a long time. Urgh! Oh well, that’s life! At least I still have my family.:)

Happily Ever After

I woke up this morning and I felt to be on a reminiscing mode. I thought of browsing my old posts on this blog and saw this photo. This is one of our wedding photos that I truly memorable to me.

This photo was taken while we are exchanging vows that we would never be apart until the end of time. 

Whenever I see this photo, I remember the time when he proposed to me and gave me 2 engagement rings. lol! Yup, he gave me two rings which explained by him the one is a gift for my birthday and the other one was for his wedding proposal. I felt weird but at the same time very happy. It was like at that moment my fairy tale ending of “Happily Ever After” came true.:)

Swisher Sweets and Brownies

It’s almost midnight but I’m still awake and browsing the internet while munching some brownies and while looking for Swisher Sweets cigars for my dad. Well, I got them from hubby as a part of his Valentine’s gift and I just can’t help but keep a couple pieces so that I can savor its yummy taste until this weekend. Oh my God I can’t believe that the month of January just passed its middle cycle (I hope you know what I mean with that, right? After 10 years of being a couple my best friend Jane has finally decided to tie the knot with her long time boyfriend Zed. They have been loving each other for so long that it’s amazing that they still long for being together forever. Anyways, I’m a bit excited on Jane’s upcoming shower party this week. Why? Because I totally love the garter belts I bought for her. Lol! Yup! I bought her a pair of garter belts that I wanted her to wear on their much awaited honeymoon after the wedding. Lol!

Christmas Gift for my Parents

Hi guys! How was your holiday? Well, ours was fine. We had so much fun with our love ones. We spent Christmas at my mom’s house where I my brother and I decided to cook our Noche Buena for the first time. ;)

My favorite part about our last Christmas Eve was the gift giving part. And here’s our gift for my parents.

A portable inflatable relaxing chair or what my hubby calls as the lazy man’s chair. It’s a very comfortable chair and my dad even used it as his bed last Christmas. :) My mom loves it most because she can now relax with ease from her aching feet while watching TV at their living room. :)

“Its Christmas!” that’s what my son always says before he goes to bed and he keeps on telling that I should give him a gift and his mom as well. Oh men is that really a pressure on me because for I haven’t got any christmas gift ideas for my wife! A Great Gift for my FIL

It’s my father in law’s birthday today and my wife said that we should go to their house and pay him a little surprise. Well, surprising him will be the greatest idea ever and my wife is really excited about it. That’s why before we went to their house; we stop on a nearest mall to buy him a gift. Upon entering a mall, we saw promotional products of his favorite watch. I think the promo was due to the brand’s 10th year anniversary. So, we decided to give it a go and bought the watch! Oh I sure hope my FIL will love our gift. :)

My friend and her girlfriend had been together for the fast five years now. Their relationship had been stronger than before. Last night, my friend told me that he wants to marry her and want to spend to rest of his life with her. Perfect Gift for the Artist

My brother Mike has been the most creative I’ve had. It’s been like that since the beginning of time!lol! He has always been the one who’s good on sketching, painting and many arts andcrafts that I cannot possibly do. :)

Now, only a few months away before Christmas, I’m thinking of giving him a gift that can help persue his artistic side. Well, I’ve done browsing some stuff like art materials with a free box cutter and a complete set of painting materials. Early Christmas Shopping

Christmas is just a few months away and with that a lot of bakeries and stores are preparing for this season as early as June or I think some has already started their production as early as January! Why? Because they will need a lot of stocks for their product for a lot of people will surely spend enormous money in giving gifts and presents to their love ones.

Most of us will surely prepare our Christmas list as early as October and some will even start shopping as early as tomorrow for their holiday loots. Oh I’m just so excited for this year’s Christmas! I feel that this holiday is more special compared to my past Christmases! A Special Gift

Last summer my friends and I decided to go out of town to relax and unwind ourselves.
So we went to the province of our grandparents to pay them a little visit. When we arrived they were really surprise when they saw me. Well, it has been 5 years since my visit to their house. Life has been very busy on my side of world that’s why. :)

Anyways, they welcomed us with a nice warm hug with me having a bonus kiss on the forehead. I was quite shy because all my friends were looking at me and smiling. After that my grandparents served us with my favorite food- ADOBO (meat simmered on soy sauce) and I tell you, my grandmother’s abodo is the best tasting abobo in the Philippines! We spent about 2 days in my grandparent’s house and when we were about to leave they give me a farewell kiss and my grandfather gave me a gift. He handed me a handful of gold coins. I was really shocked when I received it, I was hesitant at first but he insisted and I gladly accepted it. Thanks Grandpa! You’re the best! :)
