My little one's comfort toy/hanky or whatever you call it is his "curity". White cloth I purchased before he was born to be used as a diaper whenever he needs a little breather from his disposal diaper. But sadly, we didn’t had the chance to use it as a diaper because we received lots of disposable diapers when I had my baby shower.

So para hindi masayang, we used it as his towel or hanky whenever he drinks his milk. It was too soft kasi and cudly. So, that was the start of Aj's dependency with his curity. As he got older, we observed that he longs for this “curity” whenever he wants to sleep or needs some comfort.

This is definitely his comfort thingy. :)

aj terrible @ 2?

Aj will be 2 this coming August. And as he grew older his behavior has also change rapidly. Especially when his cousin, who is 6 months younger than him has been in my MIL house for a few weeks now.

Well, since his cousin is always there to play with him, other than playing there are lots of times where they can't help but FIGHT! Toddler fight that is. And that’s when Aj starts his bitting and slapping behavior.

I know that’s kinda normal for a toddler, so we try to discipline him in some ways. At times, he stops doing it but then again he does it still once in a while. Hay

So the worry freak in me has strike again.

What do I worry?

1.) He bites and slaps his little cousin when they have their tots fight. ( though hindi na madalas since we said that’s bad and no no!)

2.) I'm not sure if the discipline we apply is the right one for him.

3.) Or we might be over doing it.

4.) I'm worried that he might grew up a bully.

Hay, I know the in my heart that the 4th item is very remote or has a little possibility to occur, lalu na that I know that Aj is a very good and a very smart boy. Hmm.. I think he’s really just entering the Terrible 2 stage db? What do you think?

updates on Ernie

Here’s another update on the Ernie toy.

As I said on my last post about this toy, its tummy is somewhat defective. And it really is! Because as of this moment, the tummy is still not going up and down when he snores. I’ve done all that I can do. I tried to arrange some wires and even bought a heavy duty Energizer battery for it. But the toy tummy is still not working!

I contacted the seller of this toy and she’s trying to say that the toy is in perfect condition! Well, actually it is, except for the tummy!

Hmm, what should I do now! I’m really having a headache over this toy.

another leap pad??

I was planning on buying this one for Aj.

A Leap Frog My First Learning System

As some of you know, Aj has his very first leap pad when he was about 1 year old. Yeah, I bought him a Little Touch Leap Pad before and we had been playing with it ever since. But if you’re wondering now where that Little Touch went? I’m sorry to say that it just went bye bye last month. Why? Aj jumped on it!

Yeah, sa bigat ba naman ni AJ anong laruan ang hindi masisira! Lol!

So there! At first, I was searching for another Little Touch to replace the older “damage” one, but when I saw the Leap Pad (above), I somehow thought that Aj needs a toy that’s advanced for his age. That’s why I’m planning to buy it.

But of course, as a usual routine in my everyday life haha, I had second thoughts! (again!) Why? Only 2 reasons:

1.) Aj maybe to young for the toy (the leap pad is suitable for 3 years to 5 years of age) – but atleast advanced db?

2.) Aj might accidentally jump on it again! (bye bye leap pad again! )

Hay…

As a working mother, who is always not at home to nurture and guide Aj in his development. I tried to find some ways to fill that gap, and one way I thought of was to buy him some educational toys that he could play and learn with even when I’m not around. That’s why every now and then I try to buy him some toys for his benefit.

So, what do you think? Should I buy him an advanced Leap pad or find a replacement for his Little Touch?

a day with the chips :)

One Sunday afternoon, we had a chance to meet Alvin, Simon and Theodore at SM Pampanga.

Actually, the "watching thing" was really on my list, I really want to see the chipmunks because they were my faves when I was still young. And I would really like AJ to love them too.

So, I purchased their CD, have our tags and reserved our seats.

The show started around 2pm. Lookie:

I had a hard time focusing Aj on the cam because I think he was so amazed on how big the chipmunks were! Lol!

Look at us oh and look at Aj, even Simon tried to move Aj's head thru the camera, lol!

(Oh my, I looked a mess here! Para ba akong nirape sa itsura koh!? Wahahahaha)

We went home immediately after this pic was taken. And we watched the video.

And for the record, “The Chipmunks” is Aj’s favorite cartoon as of this moment! He smiles, laugh , dance, giggles and even cries whenever the chipmunks are not in the scene! lol!

What do you do? I’m with the accounting department and I usually blog the whole day! Lol!

Dinner: When and what? 7:30 – 8pm, the usual food also

What do you do to unwind? I shop! I scrap and I sleep :)

what’s your favorite part of the day? Usually I love the part when Aj and me says goodnight to all the things around us :)

lazy bug

The lazy bug has bitten me again. It the second day of the week and my energy to work is still in the lowest mode. It’s like my body can’t move and still have the weekend hangover.

Oh well, what can I do? I only have a 1 day off from work and all I want to then is to sleep and be with AJ. Hmm, if only I can convince my employer to give us 2 days off I will! But that would be very impossible! So many things daw to consider! Huh! I hate it!

What will our life be without pants? As for me – HORRIBLE! Since pants were created they become like a man’s best friend. Especially in my case, that’s always on the go, I wear my Dockers almost everyday!

Pants, especially that of Dockers are the hippest and the most comfortable pair for me. I love wearing them because of their comfort, style and durability. So, I make sure a have lots of them in my closet! Lol!

I just couldn’t forget one incident in my life where I have no pants to wear for a day out and only mini skirts where available. Well, though I have a nice pair of legs (lol!) I’m just not really the skirt person. Because I have no choice I wore the skirt and went out to my friend’s party. The moment I arrive at their house, I was so embarrassed to see that I’m the only in the party that’s wearing a mini-mini skirt! Oh my! So, I immediately ask my friend to borrow me her pants, I told her that “Anything brand will do, just give me a pant!” hahaha! Luckily, she gave me her Dockers. So, from that moment on, Dockers pants have been my lifesaver.

what happen to your tummy, Ernie?

Just an update on Ernie.

The package arrived this day and the item was good but I’m having a hard time testing it!

So I texted the seller and ask her how to put Ernie to sleep? She said “Just press his left hand and you’ll feel the button and he’ll go tell that he’s sleepy. So I did exactly what she said and so Ernie fell asleep and snored.

I paused for a while to see if his belly will move. It said on the description kasi that when Ernie snores, his belly will go up and down. So, I waited, but no tummy came up and down until he stops snoring! What? Tummy is defective!?

I asked the seller again and she said the toy is working perfectly, please try to move his belly, it might have been disarrange or something because of shipping. Grrr! I hate this!

So, as of the moment, I’m trying to figure out how to move Ernie’s belly. :(

I just wish this toy really works or I’ll get this woman whatever it takes! ;P

My Answer:
I love mocha vanilla frappe! It became my superfavorite drink since the day I visited a cafe here in our place. They have the most delicious frappes in town, of course other than Starbucks. :) From the moment we got to know the place, I had never forgetten the taste of their frappes and their chicken fingers too! And oh also their chicken gordon blue. ( ang haba ba ng sagot! lol! )
