My sister in law gave my eldest son Ashley an ipad for his 7th birthday. My son was so amazed and actually surprised with his gift from his Aunt. That is why he makes sure that he secures it and kept it in good condition. My son loves to play and listen to music that is why I thought of planning of giving him an ipad holder this Christmas. I just hope I can find and affordable holder before Christmas.

I was searching for a Daddario instrument a while when I suddenly noticed that Mr. G has a page rank update once again. Unfortunately, I am very sad with the updates but I’m still happy that some of my websites have retained their ranks. I just hope another update will come and change my destiny as a blogger. I believe many bloggers are not happy with the result too.

Time to Replace Old Foams
I was browsing the internet this morning and found foam sheets at Foambymail.com. You see, our bed is made from foam and I’ve been planning to buy foam as a replacement for it. Our old foam is about a year old and I think it is just proper and hygienic to replace it this time. I also want to replace it because I notice that it is on the stage of sagging. Oh well, I do hope I can purchase one before this year ends.

Lord Bless us All
I am so thankful that I am online and currently browsing ik multimedia at musicians friend. Our country is currently under siege by a Tropical Storm that is categorized by US as Category 5 on their hurricane chart. They said this is the strongest and the biggest typhoon ever hit the world. Honestly, we were all very scared at first but we decided to prepare for the worst. Now that the storm is about to exit we are more than ever thankful that it didn't directly hit our area. I am also glad that there was no huge number of casualties recorded.
Now I pray to our Lord that no more devastating tragedies will come to us and to our country. Amen. God Bless us all.

Everything For Love
It’s almost midnight but I am still awake checking the internet for an Economy Wheelchair from Invacare. My uncle Bert has asked me to browse on the internet for this special kind of wheelchair. He wanted to buy one for his mother (my grandmother) who is partially disabled because of her sickness and old age.
My grandmother has been using an old wheelchair we bought a few years ago but unfortunately it already have some tears and flaws that even affects the functionality of the chair.
What makes this even sadder is that we purchased the said chair on a very high price – the whole purchasing idea was not worth it. Then finally, my uncle decided to give some of his excess savings to our grandma and buy a new unit. But this time before we order and purchase we have to make sure that we will be buying a durable, effective and at the same time affordable wheelchair.
As my uncle Bert said, taking care of an old parent is not easy. One may experience different stress and pressures and at the same time fatigue when you are task to do it. But there comes a time that you realized that their unconditional love is enough to pay them back with much care, patience and love. By the way you can check out http://www.parentgiving.com if you are interested on buying a wheelchair.

Trying to Save my Laptop
I am typing this blog post at our very first laptop which we purchased 6 years ago. We purchased it in a second hand condition which amazes me how this precious gadget of ours lasted more than the year we expected it to last. In was in a mint condition then, although it wasn't a high end model I am still happy that I have learned a lot from it.
But of course, everything has its end and so my laptop is finally retiring. It’s speed and capacity has deteriorated as well which explains why I am having a hard time typing, posting my posts and browsing my blogs.
I still want to keep this laptop for it has a sentimental value for me, so I called my IT friend and ask for his assistance. He told me that I can speed up computer with System Mechanic. I immediately browsed on the link he recommended me and now reviewing the site. I just hope I can find a solution before my laptop dies.

I Love Shopping on Streets
I admit I love shopping! :)
Shopping to me is a stress reliever. As some of you know, I am a working mom and I usually spend most of my day inside a cubicle. Many people thought that working inside the office is cool and fun especially because of the compensation it has. Well, at some point it is but most of the time working with tons of paper works, computations and decision making is a very tiring and stressful job. No wonder in my 11 years of working I never fail to experience mild headaches and backaches. Lol!
That is why every payday I usually go out and shop. Not only to buy the things we need but to ease the tensions that I had from the office.
As a working mom, 24 hours is not enough to do everything. After work I am still hoping to bond with my kids but because I’m so tired I usually end up lying in bed resting. With regards to some of my mommy tasks like buying stuffs for my kids I usually buy on online stores for more convenience. But after a year of doing that I finally realized that buying online doesn’t have all the good stuffs. Not only that I don’t see the real item it also hinders me to interact with the people I love. With that realization, I stop shopping online to have a perfect view of what the offline world has to offer plus I was able to bond more with my family and friends for I invite them whenever I shop especially when I do my shopping at Danks Street Plaza.
Don’t you just love shopping in a plaza where it has everything you need. From gourmet and grocery food stores, spas, outdoor café, pharmacy, medical centre and many others. Well, I do and that is what I am doing right now. :)

Tips to Make Manicure Last
I always have some problems with my nails when they have some polish. Other than dry nails one of the most hated problems I have with them is the polish chip off easily.
That is why I thought of browsing the internet for tips and here's what I got.
Step 1: Prep the Surface
Swipe clean nails with a cotton ball soaked in nail polish remover. "Greasiness from lotion prevents polish from adhering," says Jin Soon Choi, owner of Jin Soon Natural spas in New York City. Pure acetone removes the most residue, but if it's too drying, try a nonacetone remover without hydrators like lanolin.
Step 2: Choose the Right Base
Not all clear polishes are alike: A base coat is soft and sticky, so it can expand and contract with your nails and grab color, says Jan Arnold, cofounder of CND. Try Orly Bonder Rubberized Basecoat ($10, Ulta). A top coat is formulated to be hard and shiny; if you put one under your color, you'll shortchange your manicure.
Step 3: Pick a Pearly Polish
Shimmery polishes like Essie Pink Diamond ($8, Walmart), shown, have the longest staying power. Pearlescent formulas, with their fine mica particles, are likelier to withstand wear than matte ones. For beautiful, even color, apply two thin layers: One heavy coat keeps a polish's solvents from evaporating, which leads to chips and dings.
Step 4: Top it Off
Steer clear of quick-dry top coats: What you gain in speed, you lose in protection, says Arnold. A regular top coat is thick and slow to dry, but lasts longer and is more lustrous than thinner fast actors. Save the quick-dry product for a touch-up three days after you've painted your nails.
Step 5: Oil Daily
A dry nail and hardened polish are both like glass rods, says Arnold; they fracture and break easily. Oil helps keep polish from chipping and nails from peeling. Rub a few drops of CND SolarOil ($11.50, Ulta) onto your nails before bed. Your polish may look solid, but as it dries, its evaporating solvents leave micro-channels that let nails absorb the oil.

Ways to Reduce Fine Lines
When one reaches the age of 30 the aging process of the skin also starts its rate. Here are some helpful tips to reduce tiny wrinkles that are the beginning of a big skin aging problem.
It is better to start off early with these remedies
.
1. START WITH A SERUM
"It has a higher concentration of wrinkle fighters than a lotion or cream," says dermatologist Mona Gohara, M.D., of Yale School of Medicine. "One with vitamin C, an antioxidant, will also help stimulate collagen production." Try Kiehl's Powerful Strength Line Reducing Concentrate ($58, kiehls.com) under sunscreen-fortified moisturizer in the A.M.

Try Kiehl's Powerful Strength Line Reducing Concentrate ($58, kiehls.com) under sunscreen-fortified moisturizer in the A.M.
2. CAMOUFLAGE LINES
Crow's feet and marionette lines are especially aging, says Dr. Gohara. For the biggest youth boost, target them with a temporary filler like Yes to Blueberries Deep Wrinkle Filler ($16, drugstores) with wild acacia. For best results, dab it on several times a day.

3. USE THE DERM FAVORITE
Retinoids are gold-standard wrinkle zappers. If you develop redness or flaking, mix a pea-size dab of the retinoid with an equal amount of anti-ager--free moisturizer. Or, for especially sensitive skin, apply moisturizer underneath. We like: Roc Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Night Cream ($22, drugstores) and Glow by Dr. Brandt Overnight Resurfacing Serum ($85, Sephora).

4. LAY THE RIGHT BASE
Skip cream foundations: They tend to cake and crease easily on less-than-perfect skin, warns makeup artist Heather Adessa. Stick with a lightweight liquid formula, like L'Oréal Paris True Match Lumi Healthy Luminous Makeup ($13, drugstores), and use a brush to dab or stipple it on. Avoid long brushstrokes, which can leave marks similar to fine lines.

5. SKIP LIPSTICK
Swapping lipstick for gloss can help hide fine lines on your lips, says Adessa. "The gel-like consistency fills them in, and because it sits on top of your lips, it won't look like it's creasing. Lipsticks, especially matte ones, settle into lines," she explains.

I Love Gibson Guitar
I just love this exciting gibson guitar that I saw from the internet. I think I will buy this guitar for my husband because he has been asking me to check on it and he really wants it badly. He has been dreaming of owning a guitar and plays it with our kids.
Believe it or not my husband has a bit of music in his blood which I think he has inherited from his grandfather. As far as I remember his grandfather was in a band in his younger years and was a good guitar player. Anyway, I need to check on its price first before I order it.

The Importance of Equipment when Going to the Shooting Range
Some people enjoy going to shooting ranges to blow off some steam or
have been wanting to try it. You may also want to go for more important
reasons such as learning how to shoot a gun so you can protect yourself.
To be able to go to shooting ranges, you need to purchase a couple
pieces of equipment that are necessities especially if this would be
your first time going to a shooting range or even handling a gun.
The first and most important piece of equipment you would need would be a plate carrier.
With that, you put on your upper torso to prevent anything from
happening to your skin or any of your organs. To make sure you will not
forget, have it with you next to your gun so you can remember to put it
on before going out there and facing those targets. If you're not
handling your gun the proper way, then it could easily backfire and you
could end up in the hospital without that carrier.
The second piece of equipment you must have and is also very important are your shooting gloves.
Not only do you need to protect your upper body, but you also need to
protect your hands. These gloves will prevent your hands from slipping
as you're holding the gun so you can aim at your target proficiently.
Whether you are used to picking up guns or not some types of guns are
extremely heavy and may take you a while to get used to them. Having
gloves will prevent your hands from becoming red and sore so you can
make a successful shot.
Whether or not you have been to shooting ranges before it is always a
good idea to have an instructor by your side so they can explain the
proper techniques you need to have. They will also go over some safety
instructions as well and let you know how important having the gloves
and carriers are. Some instructors are very specific and will
demonstrate a few times on how you need to be ready to shoot.

Silence is a Girl's Loudest Cry
Do you agree?
I DO!
I am a very patient woman but when I am angry and I am terribly hurt I just keep quiet and try to ignore the people who have hurt me. I think that is the greatest way of telling them what they did and it is also the best way to tell them that they should stop IGNORING you as well.

Foams are Packaging Materials
I never thought that foams are used as materials for packing. Well, I actually learned about that a while ago when a courier delivered to my father in law a glass trophy that his collegiate send to him as a souvenir from their last varsity reunion.
It was actually my first time to see such packaging because I never received anything vulnerable over the mail. Oh well, looks like business innovations never ends.
