Trying to Save my Laptop

I am typing this blog post at our very first laptop which we purchased 6 years ago. We purchased it in a second hand condition which amazes me how this precious gadget of ours lasted more than the year we expected it to last. In was in a mint condition then, although it wasn't a high end model I am still happy that I have learned a lot from it. But of course, everything has its end and so my laptop is finally retiring. It’s speed and capacity has deteriorated as well which explains why I am having a hard time typing, posting my posts and browsing my blogs.

I still want to keep this laptop for it has a sentimental value for me, so I called my IT friend and ask for his assistance. He told me that I can speed up computer with System Mechanic. I immediately browsed on the link he recommended me and now reviewing the site. I just hope I can find a solution before my laptop dies.

One of the Best Inventions

It’s the middle of the night but I am still up searchimg for free audiobooks online. Yup, you heard it right I need them for my ipad that my dad gave to me. I needed more books to read on so that I won’t get bored when I’m travelling alone. I think audiobooks are one of the greatest inventions that mankind had ever created. Not only you can read a whole book by only listening, you can also download any audiobooks you love online. I really love the internet and I think many of us are inlove with it too. :)

My Computer needs Repair

I need someone that has some knowledge on Computer repair software as soon as possible! You see as said on my other blog I am currently using my old computer which is about 5 years old and I just discovered today that there is something wrong with its software. Does anyone of you here know where I can get one? If so, please help. I really need it this time.

Affordable Web Hosting Services

It is Monday once again and I thought of having this day as my day off online. I thought of spending the whole day doing offline chores and bonding with my boys. But I suddenly remembered that I have a lot of pending to do online and one of them is my web hosting renewal.

You see, by March 17 my 2 wordpress domains will be expiring again, which means I need to renew about $137.50 again for a one year web hosting services plus an add on slots for my two domains. Unfortunately, I don’t have the budget for it yet and I finally realized that I cannot afford to spend about a $100 more again for the 4th time just for a hosting service. Good thing, I have some friends online that I can talk to and ask some aid about managed hosting. That is when I realized that I can spend at least $20 dollars only for a one year hosting service. And the best part is they offer almost the same packages like my old hosting provider. Gosh! If not for them, I would just be disbursing a large amount of dollars again this year. Now, all I have to do is familiarize myself about colocation and other hosting terminologies for me to start working with my friends.

Worried this Christmas

Last month my brother asked me what I want this Christmas and I didn’t hesitate to tell him that I really want the ipod touch 32g I saw online. Thought I was joking because I know that the gadget was quit pricy I taunted him that if he will give me such gift I will buy him a cool gadget as well. To my surprise, I received a package this morning and I was really so shock when I receive that I came from him. I opened it and I had mixed emotions – happy and worried at the same time. Happy because I have a new ipod touch, worried because of my promise to him. Urgh! Now, what should I do! :)

Iphone Warranty

My SIL from Canada bought an Iphone here in the Philippines. She really wanted to buy this phone but she assumed that she will get a cheaper deal here than where she came from. She bought it a few days ago and loved every bit of it. Unfortunately, something went wrong with the phone, the phone touch pad seems to be malfunctioning. She immediately search for the iphone warranty card and called the store to request for a check up or replacement. Good thing, she still had the card or else she will be returning home to Canada with a broken iphone. ;)

I think having a secure backup system is really necessary nowadays, especially with our ever growing and highly advanced technology today ones should always update its computer system. This is needed especially on accounting records. Like what just happen to me at work, because of no proper backup all my records disappeared because of data corruption. Now, I’m in big trouble! Urgh!

Working Late

It’s 12 o’clock in the morning and I’m still awake. I don’t want to sleep yet because I want to make my evening very fruitful (besides its Sunday tomorrow a non working day for me). I still have online tasks that I need to finish but I just can’t even make one because of lack of focus. Urgh!

I need to work work work!

I know it’s not nice to stress and pressure oneself on working too much but sometimes we have to do it to succeed. Oh well, I need to rest for a while and set myself on blogging. After that I will need to browse the internet again for a rackmount that my husband needs to resolve his digital system. Ciao!
