One of our family friends in Canada has to go home to the Philippines to aid to his sick husband. I think the latter is suffering from a kidney disease and is now undergoing dialysis. As said by my in-laws, the sick husband has been convicted with drug abuse years back and they seem to believe that the drug overdose caused his sickness. Apparently, this opinion is not far from reality because as we all know a drug overdose can really destroy a kidney.
Drug rehab is one way of healing the addiction. As said by the University of Utah Genetics, drug rehabilitation is by way of a simple term of treating the sick brain and changes its perception with the addiction.
Oh well, I just hope he gets well very soon and hopes that he will really stop using drugs.
