Detoxification

My friend Robert has been rehabilitated due to drug abuse many months ago.

Now, he’s starting a new life with his wife and is now applying for work in their area. But of course, one of the pre-requisite employments of every company now is passing a drug test and as we all know passing the test is not an easy thing, especially if you’ve really taken drugs a few months. Many says that the certain substances still remains in the body and may cause the person rehabilitated to fail the test even if he had quit the whole thing months ago.

That’s why as a preventive measure, Robert decided to buy detox products. Yes, this is the only thing they thought of for him to expel all the toxins in his body and for him to pass the drug test. Oh well, I just hope he goes thru this so that he can start a new life with his new job.

Goodluck Robert!

Detoxify Safely

Detox cleanses and body fasts have become very popular as the focus on health has increased. There are many detox diets and pills out on the market, though, that can cause as much harm as they do good. If you are interested in cleansing your body of toxins from alcohol, tobacco, fatty food or general environmental impurities, here is a safe way to go about it that won’t cramp your lifestyle or pose health complications.

Step 1
Drink plenty of pure water (distilled, filtered, etc). Eliminate coffee from your diet. You can drink green tea as a substitute.

Step 2
Include fiber rich foods in your meals. Organic grains, fresh fruits and vegetables such as radishes, cabbage and beets are good to add to your diet. Eliminate refined sugars, alcohol and saturated fats from your daily meals.

Step 3
Use vitamins and herbal supplements to promote a healthy liver. Taking vitamin C, dandelion root and milk thistle may help cleanse and protect the liver. A liver that is functioning properly is important for overall health.

Step 4
Exercise each day to detox the body daily. Practicing yoga or qigong can be beneficial as many exercises in these systems can help with specific health problems.

Step 5
Relieve stress in your life by practicing meditation. Doing breath meditation for 20 minutes each day can calm you as well as oxygenate your body.

Step 6
Remove toxins from your body by taking sauna baths or using detoxifying patches. You can also take a hot bath with baking soda and Epsom salts or sea salts to detoxify your body. Soak in the bath for 20 minutes and then gently scrub your skin; do this once a week.

Step 7
Try hydrotherapy or dry brushing your skin to improve circulation. You can do hydrotherapy by alternating between hot and cold water when showering. Dry brushing stimulates skin renewal through exfoliation.
